to be resented by people you think are your friends?

to be deaded by those people?

to feel those pairs or eyes burning a hole in you,
              so deep you swear you can feel them
              touch your soul?

to have your friends be so blinded by their own selfish desires
              that they can’t be happy for you?
              that they can’t even pretend to be?

i hope not. cause it really fucking hurts.

no one should have to choose between what they want and what their friends want. no one should have to suffer & be made to feel like shit because they are doing something for themselves.  i really thought some of you were better than that.
